Religious Fair Katik Mela At Budhanilkantha

November 14, 2013: All the preparations have been made for the five-day religious festival called ‘Katik mela’ to be held at the shrine of the Budhanilkantha at Narayansthan in Kathmandu every year on the occasion of the Haribodhini Ekadashi: the most important ekadasi of the 24 ekadasis a year, according to the news on the ‘gorkhapatraonline.com.’
A 111-member main fair preparation committee presided over by chairman Laxman Bhandari also the President of the Budhanilkantha Area Development Committee has done a remarkable job to make the religious festival to be held.
A 17-member work execution committee and 11 different sub-committees also have contributed to making the religious festival a success.
The religious festival will be held from November 13 to 17 this year, according to the RSS news on the ’gorkhapatraonline.com.’
