Celebrated Koirala On Hospital Bed

March 16, 2010: former Nepal Prime Minister for several terms and Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala have been hospitalized at the Sahid Gangalal National Heart Center at Bansbari in Kathmandu on March 14, 2010. Most of the top political leaders including President and the Prime Minister have visited ailing Koirala at the hospital. According to the public statements of the doctors attending Koirala, he has been suffering from the acute problem of breathing and taking oxygen. So, he has been on oxygen most of the time. Currently, Koirala has been doing better after he has received two pants of fresh blood.
Girija Prasad Koirala has been a legendary personality in the Nepalese politics in the sense that he has successfully manipulated most of the politicians to his advantage often causing political chaos. The current political deadlock has been his doing as disregarding the people’s aspirations for the consensus politics, his party and he have stood for a majority rule and have caused the current political uncertainties.
