Building A Nepal-China Cultural Center

November 1, 2012: Secretary to the Ministry of Cultural, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yagya Prasad Gautam, and Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Yang Houlan today signed off an agreement at the Ministry to set up a Chinese Cultural Center in Nepal according to RSS/thehimalayantimes.com.

“The center will help to promote cultural exchange of the two countries”, speaking at the signing ceremony, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Post Bahadur Bogati said. 

At the same function, Chinese Ambassador Houlan said that the center would help make the cultural ties between two countries stronger. 

The objective of the Center is to provide Nepalis with information on various cultural activities in China and extend cultural relations between the two countries at the public level.
