Building Roads In Nepal

August 22, 2012: again building an outer ring road in Kathmandu has been news in the Nepalese media; this time, the government was for doing ground works means surveying, preparing report and designing the outer ring road in Kathmandu. The government of Nepal had been trying to build the ring road on its own but hit a glitch, as some residents of the Satungal area had refused to surrender their land to the ring road: that was the news in the past.

In the recent past, the Nepalese media had reported that the Government of Nepal had requested the Government of Japan for widening the road from Bhaktapur to Dhulikhel. The Government of Japan had already constructed the nine-kilometer long four-lane road from Koteswor in Kathmandu to Suryavinayak in Bhaktapur The road had been a boon to all commuters, as it reduced the commuting time from a few hours to few minutes.
