Challenging Capture Of Property By Vaidhya Maoists

Issue 17, April 28, 2013

By KTM Metro Reporter

April 21, 2013: a week after CPN-Maoist cadres declared capture of the property in Kota Tulsipur, the family has filed an FIR against six CPN-Maoist-Vaidhya cadres Dil Bahadur Damai, Thagu Chaudhari, Gopal BK, Man Bahadur Tamata and Lal Bahadur Kathriya and Ram Krishna Kathariya of Kota, Tulsipur today seeking actions against the perpetrators of forcefully grabbing the land. The police have rooted out the flag planted by the cadres on the land, according to ‘HIMALAYAN NEWS SERVICE’ of today.

Capturing the property of others is the criminal act. So, perpetrators of capturing the property would be brought to justice one day when the government would be able to enforce the rule of law. Currently, the government is focused on holding elections, and does not want to create any troubles to anybody capturing the property. So, perpetrators of property-capturing: Vaidhya-Maoists have to wait for some time to be accountable to the crime they have committed.

Chairman of Interim Election Council Khil Raj Regmi has not reacted to the capture of his property by the Vaidhya-Maoists, as he knows that capturing his property is a criminal act. Criminals would one day face the consequences of such criminal acts.

Currently, the police have been simply uprooting the flags planted by the Vaidhya-Maoists elsewhere. That is certainly challenge to the Vaidhya-Maoists that have been trying to justify their criminal activities.
