KTM Metro Reporter

August 4, 2017

Kathmandu: speaking at All Regional NC Cadre Rally of the Province Number two held in Janakpur yesterday, Prime Minister also NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba has committed to get the Constitution Amendment Bill get passed in the legislature-parliament in cooperation with other political parties before the third-phase election to be held in Province Number two even though NC has no two-thirds majority, the news in “gorkhapatra” of today stated.

Prime Minister Deuba also said that he was ready to put the Constitution Amendment Bill to a vote in the parliament but the leaders of Rastriya Janata Party (RJP) had been for making sure to have the two-thirds majority before putting it to a vote; however, Deuba said that once he put it to a vote then a chance of getting it passed was high, the news stated.

Could anybody believe that the Constitution Amendment Bill getting passed in the legislature-parliament without the yes votes of the CPN-UML lawmakers? Certainly not, why Prime Minister Deuba has assumed that once he put the Bill to a vote would have a chance of getting passed is mystery.
