Double Shame On NC Leaders
By KTM Metro Reporter
October 8, 2012: first shame on the NC leaders is to appeal to the Supreme Court of Nepal for reviewing the corruption case against the NC stalwart corrupt Khum Bahadur Khadka rather than firing him from the NC to preserve the reputation of the NC if any it has but they did not do so rather went to the Supreme Court asking for cleaning up the tainted Khadka; that was nothing but shame.
The second shame on the NC leaders is the Supreme Court of Nepal has rejected the appeal of the NC leaders to review the corruption charges against Khum Bahadur Khadka.
Today, stating the apex court regulations do not allow such review, the Supreme Court of Nepal rejected a review application filed by NC leader and former minister Khum Bahadur Khadka against the apex court’s verdict that convicted him of corruption, writes myrepublica.com. Khadka currently serving a one-and-a-half-year jail term had appealed the Supreme Court for releasing him after paying the bail amount equivalent to the jail term he had received.
Terming the SC´s verdict of Khadka being guilty of amassing huge assets as ´unjust´, the NC also had decided to move the apex court with an application seeking review of the verdict, writes myrepublica.com.
