Encroachment on Nepalese Territory By India

On June 2, 2009, in a statement issued in Kathmandu, Spokesman for the United Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist has demanded the Government of India stop the Indian Security Force (SSB) from encroaching on the Nepalese territory and chasing away the Nepalese citizens from their homes in the Dang District, Western Nepal. He also has said that the actions of the Indian Security Force have infringed on the sovereignty of Nepal according to the news released by the State-run news agency called ‘RSS’.
The Spokesman also has said that the Constituent Assembly needs to initiate actions to get back the land captured by the SSB, and to return the Nepalese citizens to their homes.
The SSB has removed and shifted hundreds of the border pillars, and made hundred of border pillars disappeared in the Dang district.
