Fashion Of Serving Deadlines

Issue 26, June 27, 2010

By KTM Metro Reporter

June 25, 2010: serving a deadline for anything to do has been the latest fashion in Nepal. Even FNCCI has given deadline for working on the consensus politics to the Madhav government not to mention the number of deadlines served by the three major political parties to each other in the past. This time, legislators of 18 political parties have given the deadline of a week for working on the consensus politics for making a new unity national government to the three major parties such as UCPN-Maoist, NC and CPN-UML. They have threatened to expose the leaders of those three major parties to the people if they don’t honor the deadline. However, it is not known what they are going to expose although all the political leaders have been exposed to the under wears.

Legislators of the 18 political parties have also said that the Madhav government has miserably failed in ensuring law and order, and meet the needs of the people. For example, fertilizers are not available at the market during the rice plantations but the government has been sleeping.
