Irregularities In Publication Of SLC Examinations Results
By KTM Metro Reporter
July 3, 2010: the Gorkhapatra Corporation (GC) has complained to Commission on Investigation into Abuse of Authority (CIAA) and the legislative Public Accounts Committee (PAC) on July 02, 2010 that the Office of Controller of Examinations (OCE) has awarded the publication of SLC examination results of 2010 to the higher bidder than the GC according to the state-run newspaper ‘The Rising Nepal’ of July 03, 2010. GC has stated in its complaint that the OCE has awarded the job of publishing the SLC results to a private company that has quoted Rs. 6.20 per symbol number whereas GC has quoted Rs 6.00 per symbol number.
Only the Madhav administration could do such thing, as Prime Minister Madhav Nepal and his ministers have never shown respect for the rule of law and they have been violating laws for serving their interest.
The GC is a state-owned publishing house that has been publishing SLC results since 1933, the year the government has started publishing the SLC results for the first time.
