Kathmandu: NC leaders Shekhar Koirala and Gagan Thapa went to the Election Commission to lodge four-point complaint about the irregularity in registering the voters even after the office time at the home of the local CPN-UML leader at the Buddhanilkantha Municipality in Kathmandu yesterday, the news in the ratopati.com stated.
At the regular time, voters have a difficulty in registering their names because the Election Commission officials harassed them causing delay in registering the names of voters for the voters’ ID cards whereas they have been recording the names of voters and taking their pictures even without verifying the documents.
NC leaders have demanded to annul the voters’ names thus registered, and take the strong actions against the officials and other involved in this irregularity and bring them to justice, the news stated.
