Joint Statement of Three Generals

On April 29, 2009, Chief of Army Staff General Rukmangad Katuwal, Second-in-command Kul Bahadur Khadka and third-in-command Chhatraman Singh Gurung in a joint statement said that they have no differences among them, and they are individually and institutionally committed to defend the Constitution of Nepal, prevailing laws and past agreements.
They also stated that they are committed to the democratic system and are always ready to cooperate with the state and the representatives of the elected government on completing the peace process to a conclusive end.
They also stated that the widely circulated news about the Nepali Army in recent days have no truth at all.
