Leaders in Foreign Visits

On August 6, 2009, Nepali Congress (NC) leader defeated in the election for the parliamentary leader of the NC Sher Bahadur Deuba has left Kathmandu for visiting some European countries following the invitation of the non-resident Nepalis (NRNs). Obviously, Mr. Deuba has gone to a foreign tour with the funding provided by the NRNs to mobilize them in favor of the NC.

On Saturday, August 8, 2009, Chairman of UCPN-Maoist Prachanda with his family members is leaving Kathmandu for a visit to England for training the Maoist cadres there according to news reported by the local press. Obviously, Chairman Prachanda is also visiting England for mobilizing NRNs in favor of his party.
