Let Us Complete Peace Process And Constitution

September 6, 2011: speaking at the 4th anniversary of ABC Television in Kathmandu yesterday, Chairman of UCPN-Maoist Prachanda has said that let us complete the peace process and the constitution breaking the current political deadlock in the coming three months life of the Constituent Assembly.

Prachanda has said that political leaders need to move forward to complete the peace process and the constitution following the mandate given by the people rather than engaging in the blame game. He also has said that none of the failed leaders have a chance of getting people’s mandate again

Chairman of UCPN-Maoist Prachanda and Prime Minster Dr. Baburam Bhattarai have yesterday called on President of NC Sushil Koirala seeking the cooperation of the NC on speeding up the peace process and the constitution writing, as the clock is ticking fast, ‘The Rising Nepal’ of today writes. Prachanda has asked Koirala for working on the peace process and the constitution writing at a very rapid speed, as the time is running out very fast.

Prime Minister Dr Bhattarai has held meetings with members of small parties seeking their cooperation on speeding up the peace process and constitution writing.

"The Prime Minister sought suggestions from the small parties, and we suggested to focus on peace and constitution and making government’s action plan to give the people a guarantee of relief and good governance," ‘The Rising Nepal’ of today quotes Ram Shahaya Yadav, General Secretary of Madheshi Janadhikar Forum-Nepal.
