Majhi Community Deprived Of Representation In CA

January 5, 2014: the Majhi Rastriya Mukti Morcha means Majhi National Liberation Front affiliated to the UCPN-Maoist complained that the party had failed in representing the Majhi community through the proportional representation system in the CA, according to the RSS news on ‘gorkhapatraonline.com’.
Submitting a memorandum to Chairman of UCPN-Maoist Prachanda on Friday, a delegation of the front drew the attention of Chairman Prachanda to ‘the party had hurt the sentiments of the Majhi community not respecting its repeated pledge to represent the minority community in the CA’, said General Secretary of the Front Urmila Majhi.
Receiving the memorandum, Chairman Prachanda assured the Front leaders of trying his best to ensure the representation of the Majhi community through the quota it would receive from the 26 nominated seats to the Constituent Assembly.
