Monsoon Rains Intensified In Nepal

Kathmandu: last week and this week also have been the weeks for the continuous monsoon rain in Kathmandu. These monsoon rains might be the last ones for this year.
This year, monsoon might have been ending late, as it has reached Nepal late causing the farmers to panic for not having rains for the rice seedlings transplantations. Farmers have almost completed the rice seedlings transplantation with the late monsoon rains.
The almost nonstop monsoon rains have caused floods in Terai and hills, too. Rains have caused landslides blocking roads in the hills, and floods in Terai. Some landslides have swept some houses in the hills causing death of some people.
According to the meteorologists, soon the monsoon will recede; the monsoon has been delayed by one month this year.
