National Movement Against Federalism

Issue 12, March 21, 2010

By KTM Metro Reporter in Kathmandu

March 18, 2010: recently anti-federalism people emboldened by the public statements of some foreign and local crooks have been more active than used to be. They have set up a 65-member Committee on National Movement Against Federalism on March 17, 2010.

The fact is that Nepal could no more remain a single piece without decentralization in other words without forming autonomous states and making Nepal a Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal. So, in the name of saving Nepal from breaking up into bits and pieces, these guys have been actually leading Nepal to breaking up Nepal into pieces and inviting political chaos again. So, why should we not label these guys as the enemies of the Nepalese people as they have been conspiring to break up Nepal into pieces?

Japanese Ambassador to Nepal H.E. Tasuo MIZUNO had overstepped his diplomatic privileges and warned the Nepalese political leaders of federalism for Nepal might not be viable.

A few privileged and powerful people using the centralized system of governance in the past had subjugated all Nepalese people for 240 years. Even now in the 21st century, some people have been dreaming of repeating the history and the foreign diplomat is supporting them. Nepalis have been far smarter than used to be; so, nobody would be able to deceive them again and again as had been done in the past.
