NC Told Dissatisfied Members To Zip Their Mouths

Issue 45, November 4, 2012

By KTM Metro Reporter

November 3, 2012: in a statement issued in Kathmandu today, spokesman for the NC said that NC leaders and cadres dissatisfied with the decision of the CWC on going to polls for electing a new CA rather than going for the revival of the CA should shut up their mouths.

In the press statement issued in Kathmandu today, Spokesperson for NC Dilendra Prasad Badu said that the CWC had taken the decision on the election unanimously; so, speaking against the decision would mean violation of the party's decision and code of conduct. So, the NC told the cadres and leaders not to breach the decision of the CWC on fresh polls.

At the same time, President of NC Sushil Koiral made it clear that his party would not tolerate the indiscipline and anarchy, as some leaders and cadres have been voicing against the party’s decision in public.

On Wednesday, October 31, 2012 the CWC made a decision on the fresh CA elections rather than the revival of the dissolved CA despite Senior Leader Sher Bahadur Deuba and Vice-president of NC Ram Chandra Poudel insisting on leaving an opening for the revival of the dissolved CA.
