Nepalese President Yadav In Kuwait

February 26, 2011: upon arrival at the Amiri Terminal of the Kuwait international airport, the emir of Kuwait has welcomed Nepalese President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav at the VVIP lounge on Friday, February 25, 2011, Asiantribune.com reports. Nepalese Secretary to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Madan Kumar Bhattara along with other nine members has accompanied the president.
President Dr Yadav has visited the Gulf Kingdom called Kuwait at the invitation of his Kuwaiti counterpart Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to attend a special function held by Kuwait to mark both the 50th anniversary of its independence and 20th anniversary of its liberation on Saturday, February 26, 2011.
Nepalese president is one of the 52 heads of states the Kuwaiti Emir has invited to the special function that marks the fifth anniversary of his accession to throne coinciding with the other two national events.
President Yadav left Kathmandu for Kuwait with his entourage of 10 members on a special aircraft on Friday morning, and is staying in the Banyan Palace. He will be back home on Sunday, February 27, 2011.
