Political Leaders Ordering Rebel Candidates To Withdraw
By KTM Metro Reporter
October 7, 2013: Chairman of UCPN-Maoist Prachanda has said that the rebel candidates should withdraw their names from the Election Commission office within the timetable. More than a dozen rebel candidates have filed their nominations at the Election Commission offices, according to the news in the ‘gorkhapatra’ of today.
Apparently, Chairman Prachanda has convinced the rebel candidates of withdrawing their nominations filed at the Election Commission offices. According to the news, the rebel candidates have agreed on withdrawing their names from the Election Commission Offices.
Similarly, President of NC Sushil Koirala has asked the rebel candidates to withdraw their nominations from the Election Commission offices, and he asked them to help the official candidates of the party to win the elections.
Most of the leaders not having the official nominations from the parties had filed their nominations as independent candidates. The clashes between the official and rebel candidates will surely result into both the candidates losing the elections and giving the undue benefits to other candidates.
