Prachanda Says Be Honest For Peace; Match Deeds With Words Says Sushil

September 18, 2011: speaking at the inaugural function of the 18th general convention of the Jyapu Society held in Lalitpur, yesterday, Chairman of UCPN-Maoist Prachanda has said that his party stands for peace and constitution and is to make all sacrifices for these noble causes; however, the other political parties need to be honest with performing their duty to meet current demand of the nation for completing the twin tasks of peace and constitution, ‘The Rising Nepal’ of today writes.

Speaking at the inaugural function of the Muslim Association of Nepal in Bhairahawa, yesterday, President of NC Sushil Koirala has said that leaders of the UCPN-Maoist need to match their deeds with the words; Koirala has said that he would appreciate Chairman of UCPN-Maoist Prachanda if he completes the tasks of peace and constitution, and has urged Prachanda to reciprocate with the help he received from late Girija Prasad Koirala for concluding the two national tasks, ‘The Rising Nepal’ of today writes.

Speaking at the six-month campaign for expansion and consolidation of the party held by the Valley Coordination Committee of CPN-UML, yesterday, former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal has said that the Four-point deal the UCPN-Maoist has reached with the UDMF is strange, objectionable and mysterious, and the coalition government formed by it is an opportunistic one; it is doomed to fail, ‘The Rising Nepal’ of today writes.
