Prachanda Trains PLA Commanders

March 2, 2010: UCPN-Maoist Prachanda has imparted political training to the commanders and deputy commanders of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) at Shaktikhor cantonment in Chitwan on March 1, 2010. During the training, Prachanda has discussed subject matters such as army integration and underage combatants removed from various cantonments following the recommendations of the UNMIN, their future role and their management.
Saying the training is absolutely its private business; UCPN-Maoist has not allowed reporters to cover the training session. In addition to Chairman Prachanda, General Secretary Ram Bahadur thapa ‘Badal’, Chief of PLA Nanda Kishore Pun ‘Pasang’ Legislator Barshaman Pun ‘Ananta’ Legislator Janardan Sharma ‘Prabhakar’ have also gave training to the participant trainees the state-run newspaper ‘Gorkhapata’ of March 2, 2010 has quoted Deputy Commander of PLA Chandra Parakash Khanal ‘Baldev’.
