President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav Visits Qatar

October 11, 2011: Vice-president, prime minister, speaker and deputy prime ministers have seen off President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav and the members of his team at the international airport in Kathmandu yesterday for the four-day state-visit to Qatar at the invitation of the emir.
The president’s visit will strengthened the bilateral relations between Nepal and Qatar according to the press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The president will have talks with the authorities of Qatar about the 400,000 Nepalis currently working in Qatar. The president also will interact with the Nepalis working there.
The president will return back to Nepal on October 14, 2011. During the absence of the president, Vice-president officiates the presidency.
