President Yadav Visits India For A Week

December 21, 2012: at the invitation of the Benaras Hindu University, President Dr Ram Baran Yadav set to go to India on December 24 for a weeklong visit. During his stay in India, the president will hold meetings with the top Indian leaders, and attend a special event to be held at the Benaras Hindu University, according to the news posted on NDTV.com.
During his weeklong stay in India, President Dr Yadav will hold meetings with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and with other top Indian officials.
At the event to be held to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Madan Mohan Malaviya: founder of the Benaras Hindu University (BHU), the BHU will confer the "Doctorate of Letters" on President Dr Yadav in the presence of Indian President Pranab Mukherjee and Chancellor of the University Karan Singh. Indian Prime Minister and top Indian academicians will attend the event.
A Cabinet meeting held today approved the visit of the president to India, and a list of 22-member team accompanying the President to India. President Dr Yadav with the accompanying team is flying to Benaras on Monday, December 24, 2012.
