Students Holding A Protest Rally At NOC

Issue 38, September 16, 2012

By KTM Metro Reporter

September 9, 2012: students belonging to nine different students’ union held a rally at the central office of Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) in Kathmandu today protesting the price rise in the petroleum products.

Comments: Although the price-rise in petroleum products or in any products is not the business of the students. The business of students is to study and build their future lives on sound careers. However, Nepalese politicians have been using the students of the poor parents for their political goals whereas as their sons and daughters study elsewhere to get away from such chaotic education in Nepal.

The awful truth of not making troubles to common folks have beginning to dawn on the minds of the Nepalese politicians, and they have started off keeping the so-called students away from the streets and at the office of NOC for protests. That is better than sending the students to streets breaking everything on the way in protest.
