Students’ Rally For Protesting Against Operation Libya

Issue 13, March 27, 2011

By KTM Metro Reporter

March 23, 2011: students belonging to the All Nepal National Independent Students’ Union-Revolutionary (ANNISU-R) have marched from Ratna Rajya Campus at Bhrikuti Mandap passed through Putali Sadak, Bagbazaar and converged into a protest rally at the Shanti Batika, Ratna Park in Kathmandu to protest against the allied operation for protecting civilians in Libya, ‘The Himalayan Times’ quoting the state news agency RSS writes.

Protesting against the European and North American coalition operation in Libya for enforcing a no-fly zone and protecting civilians from the slaughter of despot Muammar Gaddafi following the UN Security mandate, students belonging to the ANNISU-R have been assisting Gaddafi in mercilessly killing civilians that have risen against the 42-year Gaddafi’s rule and for fundamental human rights and share in the national wealth. So, if the students in questions are for fundamental human rights and the end of the despotic rule, they should support the coalition operation against Gaddafi in Libya rather than going around and shouting slogans against the operation.
