Task Force On State Restructuring, Modality Of Administration And Election System

June 10, 2011: the Subcommittee on disputes resolution set up by the Constitutional Committee for sorting out the disputes and reach a consensus on various disputed issues concerning various topics of a new constitution has decided to set up three task forces: one each on the state restructuring, modality of administration and election commission, ‘gorkhapatra’ of today writes.
Each task force is supposed to discuss the pending issues on their respective topic and them build a consensus on the disputed topics and submit them to the subcommittee.
The state restructuring has still 78 disputed issues. The Constitutional Committee is sending those issues to the subcommittee for resolving. The subcommittee has 21 not resolved issues concerning the modality of administration, election system and ceiling of property.
Chairman of UCPN-Maoist heads the subcommittee and has done remarkable job resolving more than two hundred disputed issues.
