Three Major Parties Agreed On Budget

November 16, 2010: leaders of three major political parties such as UCPN-Maoist, NC and CPN-UML have agreed on a full-scale budget after an amendment to the Interim Constitution of Nepal of 2007; the leaders have agreed on amending the Article 96 of the Interim Constitution for making the officiating government possible to present a full-scale budget for the fiscal year 2010 (2067) to the parliament, Nepalnews.com writes quoting the NC parliamentary leader Ram Chandra Poudel. House Speaker Subash Nemwang has taken an initiative to motivate the leaders for coming to the agreement. Leaders of the UCPN-Maoist have been against the officiating government presenting the full-scale budget to the parliament.
