Wide Scope For Boosting Trade Between Nepal and Pakistan

April 18, 2013: the news posted on the nation.com.pk has stated that the Nepalese Ambassador to Pakistan Bharat Raj Paudyal addressed the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), and said that the scope for trade between Nepal and Pakistan is quite high.
The ambassador urged the SCCI to have the exchange of trade delegations between the two countries so that the businesspersons of both the countries would know the potential trade between the two countries. He also mentioned a few items that Pakistan could export to Nepal to meet the demands of the Nepalese elites, and similarly a few items Pakistan could import from Nepal.
The Ambassador stated the need for the support of the Pakistani businessmen for holding trade fairs of Nepalese products in Pakistan, as such trade fairs and exhibitions would help in identifying potentials tradable products and provide opportunity to build closer business links between the two countries, according to nation.com.pk.
